How much power does the sign need?+
Maximum draw is 570 watts at 12.6V, but average consumption is around 100 watts depending on your content. Ads with more white or bright colors use more power and approach the maximum.
What if I connect it to a standalone battery?+
The display is designed to connect directly to your vehicle's battery, which is sufficient for normal operation while driving. If you use an external source: at maximum draw the sign can pull up to 45 amps at 12.6V, while average use is closer to 100 watts/hour — roughly 8 Ah at 12.6V. Actual runtime varies with brightness and content.
How do you install the sign on a vehicle?+
The sign mounts to your vehicle's roof racks using the provided brackets for a secure, stable fit. If your vehicle has no roof racks, you can find compatible ones through retailers like etrailer or Rack Warehouse. Once mounted, connect the power cable to your vehicle — step-by-step mounting and wiring videos are included. Tip: a professional installer (e.g. a car-stereo shop) can hide the wires for a clean finish.
